“Blood Red Jam” by Pahlish was the very first Indie polish that I ever purchased. This polish and this brand is what got me into the Indie scene. Pahlish is based out of Arkansas and the owner/creator, Shannon, makes some of the most gorgeous polishes that I have ever laid my eyes on.
Blood Red Jam is inspired by Lana Del Ray – “My old man is a tough man, but he’s got a soul as sweet as blood red jam”. It is described by Llarowe as “a blood red jelly base with dense red foil micro flakes, purple/orange translucent spark”.

And then I added a holo top coat! By MDJ ColorBlends which I will be reviewing in full on Day 29!
Pictured above is one coat of Duri 2, two coats of Pahlish “Blood Red Jam”, and one coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat (and on the final picture, one coat of holo top coat). Wear time has lasted as long as 5 days for me with this polish, but I usually remove it after only a couple so I can switch my polish up.
The formula for this polish is absolutely excellent. Two coats until it is opaque, and there was no dragging when I put on either coat.
Stay tuned tomorrow where I will be doing another 2 posts – a CBL and an Enchanted Polish!
Thanks for reading!
Disclaimer: I purchased this polish by myself, it was not sent to me for review purposes. As always, my opinions are 100% my own.
